Zambia Vs Canada

After briefly going through both countries' information, it doesn't take much to tell how big of a difference there is to each category. The big difference is precisely why I chose these countries. Zambia, located in eastern Africa, is under lots of poverty. I believe the reason behind this is because of population growth. Compared to Canada, which is a much much higher developed country, their population growth is sitting at only a .2 percent whilst Zambia is at a 2.9 percent and growing. Zambia's population growth also has to do with their birth rate which is about four times higher than Canadas and could potentially be why there is no development over the years in Zambia. Zambia's continuing population growth is causing problems now that about half of the country's population is in deep poverty with no solutions to it. One similarity between Canada and Zambia is their death rate. I'm a little surprised that both of their deaths rates are pretty equivalent. Zambia having the upper hand in this, there death rate is at 6 per 1,000 population. Although, Zambia does have the upper hand of having less percentage of death rates, both Canadas and Zambia's life expectancy speaks volumes. Canadas life expectancy is higher than Zambia's. Canadians live up to be in their early eighties. In comparison to Canadians, Zambians only live up to their late sixties. In my opinion, that's still a very young age. I believe the reason behind them only reaching their late sixties is because of sicknesses and diseases that aren't taken care of or families not having much to afford it due to extreme poverty. For example, Zambians lack sanitation, hygiene, and clean water which then later proceeds to sicknesses and health issues. Also because of such limitations they have economically like jobs and productivity of farming.  As opposed to Canada having accesses to technology that can provide them with clean water, and everything that Zambians just don't have access to. In conclusion Canada is pretty high developed country having a very low birthrate as well as other factors. If Zambia was given resources that Canadians use and have on a daily basis, and remove the limitations they have economically, maybe Zambia wouldn't be such an underdeveloped country as it is right now. Providing Zambians with jobs/ businesses, natural resources, and access to clean water would drastically improve their development economically.
